Signs of Spring

The weather is still heavy and unpredictable at times, and the mornings freezing, but the sign of spring is here. These are just some snapshots I took around the house. Another season will soon come, afresh and anew. It is so good to see see trees come to life again, except the evergreens, with its beautiful budding. Every time is a blissful morning.

Off-topic:
You were asking me what brand of camera I can recommend for you since you’re planning to buy another one in the near future. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can recommend you a particular brand of camera you can buy. And you didn’t mention whether you would like an SLR or a point-and-shoot

Assuming you would want an SLR as an upgrade, and I presume you’re presently using a Sony DSC-S600, what I can recommend to you is to stick with that brand. Familiarity is very important and upgrading to a totally strange brand can be very very wearisome at times… So, If you would like an SLR upgrade, maybe you can choose from the lines of Sony SLRs. You may want to start with an entry-level model like the Sony a200. It’s also a good camera for you to make foundation in using SLR before you jump up to professional-level cameras. But if you have budget that allows you, you can choose the Sony a700. It’s not really a problem if you start right away with an advance camera.
As for me, I’m using Canon EOS 300D. It’s an entry-level camera but I enjoyed every bit of it. I’m not thinking of an upgrade as of this time, but even if I do, I still would stick to the same Canon brand as this is what is familiar with me, and besides, I had already invested a lot of camera accessories for Canon use.
