It was a busy week/end. On December twentieth we flew to Agra to see some landmarks of India. We would be staying there for few days. I had been looking forward for this one trip since my first time in India. India is a huge country. It took our regular aircraft few hours to reach the first leg being to Jaipur. It was pretty safe but being in a strange/foreign country tight on security being near Pakistan, everyone moves with precaution, as we should anywhere else in the world. Photographs are not allowed in some parts of the country and airports too. We were stranded for few hours in Jaipur airport for our next flight was delayed, which according to one of the attendants, caused by “air traffic”, of course we did not buy it. It was already evening when airplane landed for us off to Agra. Well, everything would be worth the wait for what awaited us there in our destination. le 20 décembre 2007

In South Padre Island you will find many lovely bird species. One of them is called the Laughing Gull. Why the “Laughing” name? I also wondered. The Laughing Gull’s English name is derived from its raucous kee-agh call, which sounds like a high pitched laugh “ha… ha… ha…”.
Here is a video of the laughing gull with its laughing call.
When buying any computers or electronics system memory should the first priority to consider. Just like buying a laptop computer, no matter how high tech or branded it is if it has no sufficient memory it is not good because it means you cannot save files and documents as much as you want. So it is very important to check the memory before buying any gadgets.
One of the most common cancers today is colon cancer. It is sad to say that this kind of cancer can somehow be prevented. There are many predisposing factors that can be modified as prevention of the disease such as: good eating habits and proper diet, increase water intake, regular bowel movement and to make sure to have colon cleanse.
My sister told me recently that they were eating durian fruit at home. Dang! It is one of the things I missed about home! The durian is the fruit of trees of the genus Durio. The name durian comes from the Malay word duri (thorn) together with the suffix -an (for building a noun in Malay), meaning “thorny fruit. Revered in Southeast Asia, especially in the Philippines as the “King of Fruits” the fruit is distinctive for its large size, unique odor, and a hard, formidable, sharp, prickly thorn-covered husk. The edible flesh within emits the distinctive odor, which is regarded as either fragrant or overpowering and very strong and penetrating, and offensive, which we locals do not. But it tastes so so good.
