My mother-in-law called early today. She said she had put up their Christmas tree back to their attic. Mine, I have not. The year is not over yet. It’s just too beautiful to hide. If we could prolong the celebration longer. In Philippines we start putting decorations and playing Christmas songs months early, and keep the light and decors for as long as till January, how festive is that. I know I will still have mine until hubby comes back, soon. We may all have a prosperous and fruitful New Year ahead of us. And this country recover and go back it’s good ways.

My flight to Florida is tomorrow and though I had a lot of time this week, I just packed my bags today, to maximize my excitement I guess. And it is just as well because I would be able to join their Filipina group Christmas Party. Earlier I climbed up the attic to retrieve bags I would be using, and it was there that I decided to move down the Christmas tree as well. Never too late. I told my sister I’m not gonna have one this year but she’s right, we still, and always, have reason to celebrate especially of Jesus’ birth. So I accomplished two good things tonight. And I am so excited to go.

I will be taking my vacation soon and I am so excited already. I like to travel, for in it there is healing. Vacationing is refreshing and relaxing especially if the place is awesome and close to nature where we can truly relieve the stress. We have different preferences but one escapade we might all love are punta cana vacations. It is such a nice place, and relaxing with the colors of nature and the amenities around the beaches. It’s one of nature’s paradise.

My sister and her company just got it back to the city after their trip to the province to check the place out where they are going to establish or build additional clinic. They wanted to expand and reach out to the community. The medical team will soon be back with their medical equipment. How noble of them to offer their free services to help the indigenous people with their charity lying-in clinic. They got the best nurses and the appropriate medical paraphernalia and products. So many people get assistance medically and also spiritually, as is it one of their works.

Who would have known that our simple talks of taking a breather and visiting places to have some fun were not just simple at all, for it was also serious and would happen in reality. At least I could say it after my friend really requested one week off her work just to ‘accommodate’ me while vacation in her place. The other day I finally booked and paid my own flight to Florida. I was so excited. It’s kind of my real first adventure, on my own and I am so looking forward for the enjoyment, fun, memories and meeting new people and going to new places. I love traveling, it is for me ‘healing’.
