I remember in my previous work when I was just new I got so nervous to make a courtesy call to our guests, checking if how’s our guests’ stay, asking them if there is anything we can do to make their stay more comfortable and if they require assistance just not to hesitate to contact me or anyone of the reception staff. Doing all that was just fine but what made me nervous and scared was I can’t easily comprehend slang words specially if talking only at phone. I was grateful because the phone that the hotel was providing uniden was so helpful. I heard every guest on the other line very well and clear. I understand them all what they were telling or complaining and that I was able to respond immediately to their needs and complaints and thankful for some of the compliments I got from guests.
