Airbrush choices

I like painting. It was my dream to be a painter but unfortunately there was no Fine arts school in our place after my high school years. I was once taught by my dad on how to paint a masterpiece by the use of airbrush. There are different kinds of airbrush choices for the artists or art students. It will work well in most paints.

Unique baby names

Jul 19, 2008 Author: bluegreen butterfly | Filed under: arts and culture

During one of our travels, I saw some children named by their parents with negatively strange names, especially for girls. Now what is hot is that babies are named after some Olympic terms of hope and encouragement, especially that the Olympic is few weeks away. So what are you going to name your baby? We are planning to have a baby in the near future and I am so excited for that. In the right time we will fulfill our dreams, that is why right now I am already looking at names we will possibly call our baby. I have bought a book for it, but the most convenient and fun way to search for baby names is through baby zone online that provides interesting and unique baby name list! Not only we will find good names and their origin but also all popular, helpful and interesting information about pregnancy and babies.

Dubai’s rotating skyscraper!

I could visualize the world like those in sci-fi movies with flying objects on the highway on the sky for “day to day” travels. Are we getting there?

Well nothing’s gonna stop Dubai’s amazing development. This time planned and ready for constuction is the Dynamic tower, world’s first building that rotates while people inside revolve in luxury.  The 80-story tower that is designed by an Italian architect will have revolving floors that give it an ever-shifting shape. It is the world’s first, let’s celebrate it in Dubai.

Better than all great riches

Today we went to the church. I was blessed with the sermon about how important good name or a good reputation is. It is stated in proverbs that “A good name is better than all great riches”. It is very important to have it because we are carrying God’s name in our name. We also pass on our name to our children.

Afternoon delight

sky watch MumbaiThe monsoony afternoon clouds over Juhu beach, Bombay (Mumbai, India). Taken from the hotel we stayed in. It was a good day sky watching from the inside, and also watching thousands of Indians lazying out the afternoon ashore. It was a regular delight for me watching them and sometimes joining them. See the stormy weather did not prevent them from spending the time with their lovers, family and friends playing ball, sitting or sleeping on the sand despite the multitude, or even daring to swim in the grayish waters.

PhotoHunt 99: Party photohunt

This party took place in one of Amsterdam’s famous bars and coffee shops, with some old friends and hubby’s workmates from around the world during the worldwide meeting.

It shall be noted that in the Netherlands, the use of soft drugs – cannabis in all its forms (marijuana, hashish, hash oil) has been admitted for the personal use only; it is legal! And openly sold and smoked in Amsterdam’s coffee shops which can legally store up to 500 g of marijuana and can sell up to 5 grams to adults over 18. (We didn’t smoke, ok!) These coffee shops offer several kinds of weed and hash, and usually there is a “menu” to choose from. The prices vary according to the quality (about 5 EUR per gram). Amsterdam has also a major smoking event called High Times Cannabis Cup on November. But there are also so many interesting places and tourist spots in Amsterdam as well.

Safer Internet for children

Feb 29, 2008 Author: bluegreen butterfly | Filed under: arts and culture, Computers

Will the Internet be ever safe for children to browse? If there are the so-called growing “Chinese army of hackers”, in contrary, European Union is extending its net safety programme that has started four years ago, to prevent children from inappropriate content and cyber bullying.

The European Commission is spending 55m euros (£42m) on making the net a safer place for children.

That is some price of technology we have to pay.
