After having it used for five years still the psp batteries of my younger brother’s gadget still working and in good condition with proper care. He is very good in handling his things and belongings. I just wish that he will pay more attention in studying than on his gadgets. We would be very happy to see him graduate in college. We will all get married and soon he will stand with his own feet with his own family and not depending to us, his sisters. This is our ultimate dream for him.

I am thankful with my little brother today for fixing my laptop. I never thought my pictures, folders and music files will get recovered at all. My anti-virus software got expire this morning and I received too much warning from the action center for virus treats and my computer shutted down itself. I reopened my laptop and I got happy that it was opening but was so sad because I couldn’t find some of my important files anymore. I didn’t make any back-up of them. I thanked God my little brother who is a Computer Engineering student, fixed my laptop easily and recovered all the lost files. Bravo to you, Bro! Keep it up.

Courtesy call

I remember in my previous work when I was just new I got so nervous to make a courtesy call to our guests, checking if how’s our guests’ stay, asking them if there is anything we can do to make their stay more comfortable and if they require assistance just not to hesitate to contact me or anyone of the reception staff. Doing all that was just fine but what made me nervous and scared was I can’t easily comprehend slang words specially if talking only at phone. I was grateful because the phone that the hotel was providing uniden was so helpful. I heard every guest on the other line very well and clear. I understand them all what they were telling or complaining and that I was able to respond immediately to their needs and complaints and thankful for some of the compliments I got from guests.

It’s party time! In preparation with my father’s birthday next week I started to buy groceries for the party. I went to the Mall yesterday and oh, I forgot it was Friday. Weekends are the busiest day of the shopping malls here in our place. I just brought enough money so I made it sure to know all the prices first before paying to avoid embarrassment might I’ll get short in the counter. It was so disappointing to know that some of the items had no tags/prices. I tried to search for assistance but I found no one. Thanks God I saw a laser barcode scanner. I scanned all the barcodes on it and it gave me all the prices instantly. It saved my time.

At work, majority of our hotel guests are tourists from different countries. Usually Tourists traveled miles just to make a tour to witness the beauty of the country and its people. Some of our guests were too confident making tours of their own without any tour guides. I just wondered how they made it to drive and find the place wherein they were not familiar with and were able to come back to the Hotel? I found out, they were using handheld gps. It is a satellite-based navigation system that navigates locations all around the world and provides time information in all weather. It helped them enjoy the adventure of travelling without getting lost.

Shopping is one of my hobbies. It feels so nice to shop however, waiting and falling in line to the counter is so annoying. I am thankful for the high technology today. Malls, shopping Centers, Supermarkets & any other stores are now using barcode scanner which is very useful & helpful. It makes everyone’s job easier & makes the service faster for the convenience of the shoppers.

Hp printers

I just had the last printer for a few months when it broke, and just when you really need some important documents printed out. It was not the very best buy. I need one soon but I will get one model of hp printers on my next destination at Howard computers. They’re pretty affordable and reliable, which is just what I need.

I am not clumsy, but there are those unavoidable moments sometimes when we drop our phones, accidentally or not. Thanks goodness for the covers, they keep the phones intact and whole as is, we can’t afford not having one in case there are emergencies just when our phones broke.
