Dealing with an edgy CEO

Yahoo! hotjobs’s article I read today is interesting: 4 Things You Should Never Say to the CEO. As some executives appreciate opinions and whatever honest things you can say, some are very serious and a “terror” to his subordinates that a single mistake or wrong remark might cost an employee his job. If your boss is like that, these are some things to remember never to say to the perfectionist CEO: “I’ll have to get back to you on that.”, for it just means you were not prepared and researching or studying well your assignment and presentation. And bossy doesn’t like that. And never make fun of a corporate program if you want to last in the serious company, to some it is a grave insult. You get it? No funny things because everything had to be dealt with seriously in the job, as they said, “Skip the jokes, especially at the beginning of a presentation.”; Just show your seriousness at work and never say “That can’t be done.”, something is impossible, for no bossy would not tolerate that, and other weak and negative forces around him.

All these so you would know who is the boss here!

Internet failure

With the communication I’ve got these days, I see that that they have fixed the extensive Internet failure Thursday that hit two continents in less than a week. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, the Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and India, are all experiencing severe problems they believed caused by two damaged undersea cables in the Mediterranean that collectively account for the majority of international communications between Europe and the Middle East, though many governments in the Middle East have backup satellite systems in case of cable failure.

High-technology services and everything else around the globe depends so much on the internet that an interruption in service is crippling and causing major disruptions to businesses, television and phone services, and this individual:

Car angel

Hey guys, can you still remember the nursery rhymes and children’s songs, musicals and stories you once loved before when the days were young? Ha. For me I can still remember some short choruses. Lucky were we there were adults who cared to give and teach us. Now is our chance to give back for the children of today, through Car Angel. Car angel is a non-profit company that uses car donation and other gifts to make videos for kids and teens. By far they have given away over 2.4 videos. Isn’t it very inspiring, I mean the materials they produce from the money raised are wholesome, critical for the new generation. If you are wanting to dispose your used cars and things you are not using, they are open, for the children’s sake. Here is one of he videos. Take time to be entertained. :-)

I am a top earner

I was chatting with my sister today, and she said that one of my aunts said that “I am top earner on the internet!” Lol! Such an exaggeration! :-D How I wish! And she also said that another relative told everyone about it! Ohmy! It is funny, magdilang anghel sana sila. I know po na this is just temporary for me while I’m not going to the university yet. Even when I will not blog that time, I will still do journals, so I guess it is okay with hubby ;-) .
