personal and travels
I haven’t heard from one of my college classmates for several years, and oh how much has changed since our school days. He was looking at this picture and wondered if I am alone in this quiet and ‘cold’ place. I’m not, always, and it will not be quiet soon..
My “scholar” sent me a message, thanking for my supporting him in college. All I can say is “be good in your studies!” for everything is for the glory of God. He has great potential especially in the ministry, a new convert with sick parents, and now taking dual course, studying theology and education in the bible school. With just a little of my limited resources, I have made a big impact on somebody’s life. Being a scholar in college, I know just how it feels. I am just compelled to give; there is this desire for more.
I am so thankful for having a trustworthy friend. Although she is hard to understand sometimes, she is someone you can laugh real loud with, dance and sing, and even being a shoulder you can cry or lean on in times of difficulty. I will surely miss her. She is fixing to take her vacation for couple of months and be back next year. When she gets back, I might be in the same place. But it will not end there. We are more than best friends, we treat each other as sisters. Wouldn’t you be grateful for that?
My youngest sister just had a beautiful and healthy little baby girl three weeks ago. She is so adorable and cute little baby. She is the first grand child in the family so we are all so happy and excited about having her. My sister is a nurse, but I would still share this great site about how to increase breast milk production. It’s very helpful not just for her but also for all breastfeeding mommies.
We went to Houston last month to see a doctor. We left early in the morning and several hours of driving is of course so worth it when we see an specialist. Glad everything was taken care of that day. A lot of good doctors are in Houston with equipments and paraphernalia that we could not find in small town clinics. I just wish to give it a try. Maybe it is just there!
It’s 9/11. My mind is in New York, my love, my family, and loved ones, my grandma and all relatives. One day we’ll meet, be together again, soon, and hopefully mid next year, God willing. Praying for all our safety and security, wherever we are in the world.
So everyone home was surprised of my sister’s homecoming. And somewhere in the world, my younger sister was surprised too. Her boyfriend baked a cake for eldest sister, so they can celebrate in Oman too, for sure thing everybody does in the Philippines. Now this leaves me ‘watching’ them all so happy. I can just smile deeply.
