personal and travels
We went to Houston last month to see a doctor. We left early in the morning and several hours of driving is of course so worth it when we see an specialist. Glad everything was taken care of that day. A lot of good doctors are in Houston with equipments and paraphernalia that we could not find in small town clinics. I just wish to give it a try. Maybe it is just there!
I flew to Chicago, Illinois last January to have my expiring Philippine passport renewed at the Consulate. The process did not take me long because I have prepared already the necessary documents, after all, it would not be wise and easy to fly back or roam around the city for one paper. I enjoyed, despite the bitter cold, walking around and seeing lots of things. It was one unforgettable trip. I was so slow though. It would be months later before I found out something happened or was done while I was in Chicago. But I hope in the Lord, and what He has prepared for me.
I really had a great time visiting my friend in Florida couple of months ago. I stayed in their house for one week, and toured around Disneyworld’s parks. This was the guest room. It’s very nice, to wake up each morning seeing the lovely flowers through the windows with beautiful blinds and hearing the birds’ morning calls by the creek. It was really amazing. I really enjoyed my stay and so glad I went and visit them by myself.
It’s a fact in life that somehow, somewhere and sometimes we sojourn to a strange land to explore and to fulfill our dreams, for our families, and ourselves. I am so glad my sister has made it with all the requirements, but as always during departures, I feel sad. I know my family back home feel more deeper that they are the one left behind. She is traveling now, where it will be easy to go back. Now we sisters are scattered in four continents. We agreed that next year everyone of us will go home for our family reunion, God willing. I just pray for safety and His protection during the full year we still have to face. We just have to strengthen ourselves and our trust in God, to cast our burdens and cares to Him. The reward for a lot of sad tears is great, we will have been apart for two years then, and there are four additions to our family, two in-laws and two nieces, at least we are sure the first angel is a girl. It will never be the same again, but He makes all things to grow for the better.
This is an American Bald Eagle at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, during one their amazing shows. It is beautiful, isnt it? The good news is that it is reported to have been removed from the endangered species lists. That is just great! Victory for the birds, thanks to the bird conservationists.
In the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight; and so will I too, early. It is not just to slow down aging (never too early to prevent future complications) and maintain youthful and beautiful skin to sleep early and get enough of it, but for my plan tomorrow, Sunday, Church. I want to be early. I had barely enough time last week, and I missed one turn, I ended up having to drive around for several more miles. Not that I’m gonna miss again tomorrow, uh-uh, no more.
This was the Lion King and party, during the musical in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I didn’t expect it was a musical we gonna watch, but I enjoyed it, it’s an impressive show.
Park goers and Mount Everest replica at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. We toured the park whole day and it was raining and super cold that we bought Disney sweaters and jackets without planning. It was unforgettable and very fun day with my friend and her husband.

The long-necked animals in Disney World’s African Safari Park. Beautiful zebras!
