I am so excited for the showing of ‘The Expendables’ movie this August. It’s gonna be a great one, with all the superstars together in one. It’s a coincidence I am listening to ‘Eye of the Tiger’ song right now, but where else you can watch Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, with Jet Li my favorite, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, along with other famous stars in one movie. Now famous actors when we were growing up, Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Cynthia Rothrock, and Hulk Hogan if you will, etc. could have completed the lineup for one kick ass movie. Grrrr.

We have been seeing the effects of smoking tobacco over the years, for many it cost them their lives, health of their lips, teeth, mouth, breath, their lungs, and sticking cigarette smell around, as well as giving side stream smoking to non-smokers. But is it a life-long habit for you that is so hard to break? Well, as a lot of things going electronics, there is now what is called a rechargeable e cigarette. It satisfies the craving and habit of smoking and tasting nicotine, but without the ashes, the dizzying smoke and flame, and the poisonous carbon monoxide.

This morning I was chatting with my sister who is in Sudan right now. Thanks to technology we are able to get in touch with our loved ones anywhere in the world. We were talking about using credit cards. Legitimate companies of course provide secure transaction protection, but we should be wary of providing our financial information. There is one website I found out about today, called eBillme, where you can shop, with coupons too, but the thing is that, as the name suggests, they will just bill you the charges, you can pay through online banking, and even going to your local bank to pay cash, so you wont use credit cards online.

Chicago Willis towerWe heard a lot of things referring to Chicago these days, but there are still some nice things in the Windy City, just like anywhere else. I flew there to take care of my Philippine passport business, it was expiring, and shivering in the middle of winter, experienced what a ‘tourist’ should see. I could not let the tallest building in this continent pass by right on my eyes, lol, and besides, engineering structures captivates me. This is taken in the Willis (Sears) Tower last January as I was going up to be on the skydeck. Superb experience..

There is nothing more challenging and fun at the moment of dressing and grooming little angels and young ones, and for me there is nothing more cute and adorable than seeing them in formal attires, at least for the whole time they can keep it, ha. I am actually very excited for the arrival of my two new nieces, or one might be a nephew, it is early to tell yet. It might still be a while, but I can keep the favorite kids ties for them, and for other little cupids in the clan, of course from bows and ties store.

It’s a fact in life that somehow, somewhere and sometimes we sojourn to a strange land to explore and to fulfill our dreams, for our families, and ourselves. I am so glad my sister has made it with all the requirements, but as always during departures, I feel sad. I know my family back home feel more deeper that they are the one left behind. She is traveling now, where it will be easy to go back. Now we sisters are scattered in four continents. We agreed that next year everyone of us will go home for our family reunion, God willing. I just pray for safety and His protection during the full year we still have to face. We just have to strengthen ourselves and our trust in God, to cast our burdens and cares to Him. The reward for a lot of sad tears is great, we will have been apart for two years then, and there are four additions to our family, two in-laws and two nieces, at least we are sure the first angel is a girl. It will never be the same again, but He makes all things to grow for the better.

Over the years I have collective several textbooks and references. They are all in our house for anyone else in the family to use. They helped me a lot, some will benefit from them too of course. But it seems no one will be needing them soon, as everyone is almost finish in the studies which are not quiet related to my field. I can still use some, but others I am thinking of selling. There is a website actually you can also sell textbooks. Who knows it’s one of your books I may buy soon too.
