Soladey-J3X is Japan-based Shiken’s solar-powered toothbrush. It does not use toothpaste but does lead to a “destruction of bacterial cells”. The toothbrush has a solar panel at its base which transmits addiditonal electrons through a lead wire. It contains moisture activited, titanium dioxide road in the neck. It works when by creating a chemical reaction when light hits the rod, which then release electrons which  combine with acids in the mouth to help break down plaque.
