Who would have known that our simple talks of taking a breather and visiting places to have some fun were not just simple at all, for it was also serious and would happen in reality. At least I could say it after my friend really requested one week off her work just to ‘accommodate’ me while vacation in her place. The other day I finally booked and paid my own flight to Florida. I was so excited. It’s kind of my real first adventure, on my own and I am so looking forward for the enjoyment, fun, memories and meeting new people and going to new places. I love traveling, it is for me ‘healing’.

One of the requirements to be granted a Schengen visa for our last trip to the Netherlands was travel medical insurance. It is an assurance that if unexpected medical attention would be needed while on travel, we could manage and not be a public burden of the government, as should be. Wherever we travel, having this kind of insurance will give us peace of mind because we are prepared and will be properly taken care of in a foreign land, even though we don’t expect emergencies.

We have traveled by air and by land, but not by water yet. One of the vacations we are looking forward in the future is a cruise ship tour to our favorite islands and other beautiful refreshing places. Can be pretty expensive that is why we would go by cruise deals. One of the best there is but an affordable cruise luxury is Sherman’s travels. When it comes to travels deals, you will get a lot so our trip will be within the luxury we would be there for and more importantly, within our budget.

It’s time everyone flies. We have tried to purchase my domestic e-tickets today for my incoming flight back to the Philippines from Manila to Davao next month. But how in the world, Cebu Pacific Air, which hubby chooses, does not allow visa payments from the United States! I just won’t dare imagine them if they handle payments online from other countries.
