Hello friends it has been a while. I am back and thanks for the messages and for visiting. Our last trip was towards Houston, Texas. From central Louisiana we left at one o’clock in the morning in order to beat the late morning and afternoon traffic in and out of Houston. We were picking up some construction materials from a certain company. It is better kasi to pick them up there than to be shipped to our house for in the long run, we could save good amount, and besides, we love to travel. On our way hubby pulled his unused acytelene tank on the trailer for his brother so we stopped at DeQuincy before daylight. We arrived to the company compounds in Houston just as we planned. And with the time we have, we could make it back without delay. These were what we traveled for, there were 8 of them rolling doors.

But our patience was tested in the heat on our way back. A hundred miles ahead one lane was closed so we were stuck in traffic for three good sun hours. It was so hot and the traffic congestion was endless. We just loosen up and observed the people, truck drivers going out of their vehicles for impatience and curiosity.

Three hours was so long a time to be stuck in a very long traffic. But we were glad we reached home without any difficulty with the things we pulled by the truck.

The monsoony afternoon clouds over Juhu beach, Bombay (Mumbai, India). Taken from the hotel we stayed in. It was a good day sky watching from the inside, and also watching thousands of Indians lazying out the afternoon ashore. It was a regular delight for me watching them and sometimes joining them. See the stormy weather did not prevent them from spending the time with their lovers, family and friends playing ball, sitting or sleeping on the sand despite the multitude, or even daring to swim in the grayish waters.

Sometimes it is hard to keep our cool especially if we have been so looking forward to go home, and then all of a sudden the flight is canceled due to plane’s hydraulic problems. So hubby’s flight is delayed for 36 hours. As frustrating as it was, I am still glad that at least nothing bad happened yet, God forbid! From Mumbai to New York direct flight comes only once a day. They found the problem out just when it is about to take off. Makes me wonder how thorough their inspections are. Still glad though though we would have to bear one more day. Just have to wait. Ggrrr..

I love nature. I love the beach. Though I am not the best swimmer, the beach always captivates me, maybe because of the freedom and wild feeling it gives those who indulge, and also because of it’s wonderful beauty. Stopping over in Hawaii many times I came to know first hand some facts about its great tourism spots. One place I want to explore some day is the Na Pali Coast along the Hawaiian shores. It is the best for nature trek and beach adventures. Na Pali coast is a national state park that can be accessed by hiking, by chopper or by boating. Kauai boat tours by the Yacht Club O‘ahu Channel sailing race winner Capt. Andy and his crew will sail us along the state park, the nature reserve, and to see geologic formations, volcanoes, and other natural features. They are always breathtakingly beautiful. You will not just witness the wonder of the works of nature which are diverse in this place, but always view wildlife and even Kauai whale watching. Isn’t that a one of a kind experience? All of nature wild and free, the amazing cliffs, exceptional landscapes is always stress relieving, the place so lush and tropical. Some called it a must-see place; yeah we can call it paradise on its own. Sailing adventures or the daring raft expeditions, you can have it all with an online comprehensive coast guide to Na Pali.
