Merry Christmas!

It is a challenging year that we are so thankful to see a merry christmas. Though my dad is spending his Christmas in the hospital, we are glad that we is getting well now. Anyway, here is what we got on Christmas day from hubby’s company’s catering services. So thoughtful of them. Here in the hotel they also put some socks on the door with candy and other sweets, isn’t that sweet? It is a great christmas here in India. Be well everyone.

Hotel reservation

So we flew to Agra last week to see the very amazing and wonderful works of art of the old times that still withstand until now. The place was so rich in history and culture that it took us four days of travel and adventure. We stayed in a very nice hotel, obviously one of the best there is in that place; we had a good stay, and food was great. Hubby said that the hotel pricing was so cheap compared to others of the same amenities, features and standard. That it makes us saved well in that hotel. We did the Hotel Reservations, and you can do it at http://www.HotelReservations.com over the Internet, and it was more grand when we finally arrived there. For your reservations, see that the one of different offering like hotels, motels, resorts, vacation rentals for worldwide destinations has very competitive pricing and rates, even offer great discounts.

A Laptop that docks without wires

R400The R400 is the first Laptop that can connect to any peripheral – printer, monitor, speakers, anything with a USB plug – wirelessly. Just plug them into the docking station. It communicates with the laptop through a new wireless technology called ultra-wideband, which carries video, sound and data faster than Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Signals can travel short distances with nearly the same quality as they would have over cables.

Oldest human being

In the old age, people live longer life than we do today. It seems the more confortable and convenient life is, it gets shorter, just a price to pay, and results of the works of man himself. If one lives near a hundred, lucky is he to have exist that long. But just this week, the known oldest man in the world, laid that long life to rest, and guess at what age? Hryhoriy Nestor, a bachelor who was thought in his lifetime to be the oldest person in the world, has died in his sleep on Friday night at the age of 116 in the village of Stary Yarychev, in the western region of Lviv, Ukraine. With life that long, he must have witnessed great events and history. When he was born, Hitler was not yet two years old.

How he survived that long? He loved to get outside and would run barefoot through the grass. , His favourite food was simple country fare with his greatest luxury a slice of sausage in a bread roll, and Vodka he drank in moderation.

Online on the sky

Who does not want? It has not been allowed by airlines to have electronic products and gadgetry that would interfere with their navigational system, but the main reason was security against terrorists communicating while up high through the world wide web, having Internet access while on the sky. It had been banned since the September attack. But now, if you want free in-air access to Internet, fly with Jetblue heading from San Francisco to New York on JetBlue Airways next week, so you may get a chance to join testing in-flight e-mail and instant-messaging service. But because of bandwidth constraints, general web access and e-mail attachments won’t be permitted. Service will be accessible only to travelers using two BlackBerry models, the 8820 and 8320, and to laptop users with Yahoo e-mail and Yahoo instant messaging. The test will be on Tuesday on Flight 641 from JFK International Airport to San Francisco International. The return flight, Flight 644, leaves San Francisco at 12:25 p.m.

Embassy requirements

Now I am required of our marriage certificate. I think this will be the last one the will require of us. Hubby has just faxed both papers to them. By today it must be over. They’ll just give me three months this time. The last time was six months. But it is still worth it all. I just can’t wait to travel again, and be with my husband, and see exotic places in Incredible India.
