I don’t know. I just felt like taking a picture of the chains hanging on the truck bumper. I just took it beautiful and wanted something different picture take on the streets. This was on one of the streets in Mumbai on our way from the Gateway of India.

Kanchenjunga, the third tallest mountain in the world lies on India’s border with Nepal.
A girl or a boy? One of the street children asking for alms while we were heading back to the hotel where we were staying. It was a genuine smile, pure joy and that is priceless. It is indeed amazing and equally hurting to see them so happy despite the poverty.

Ah there! The lovely massive building called the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. The Taj Hotel blends the Rajput, Renaissance and Gothic architecture. It was constructed in 1903 by the Industrialist Jamshetji Tata to provide Indians with a sophisticated meeting place which was denied them by the British.

climate in India varies from tropical monsoon in south to temperate in north (where I froze, shivering :-D)
One thing I like about India is the music. Though I don’t understand the lyrics of its local songs, the sound is universal, and I like their style, their rhythm. Hubby used to play the TV for their music every morning to awake him when he is alone, not when I was there, I love sleep, silence please.

Namashtè. Now meet Paul the driver. He was a good driver, and patient too, for a tourist like me. He was ‘educating’ me about what he knew of India and the landmarks that were seeing. I appreciated it. there is nothing better than learning it from the local people. Of course we communicated by English language.
