I’m counting the days
This week I have been counting the days. Hubby is coming and home and then we will be off on our wedding anniversary. Maybe just so excited that I can’t do anything except daydreaming. Haha, I ought to be busy with my preparation for going back to the Philippines. Goodness knows I love to do it when it’s almost time. It’s supposed to be almost time now.

The service driver
Meet Munjit, the driver. Opps, we can’t see him here. But you notice that indeed the vehicles in India are right-hand drive. Munjit was the company driver when I was there. He wears a white turban around his head. He was picking me up to hubby’s workplace for a visit and tour. Mumbai is very large and it would take us an average of an hour to get through our destination pass through the endless traffic and blowing of horns.

Mumbai constructions
The flat, rather lifeless shot of the buildings being built in Mumbai, which to my observation is blooming with many new high-rise constructions. This was on a trip with Munjit the driver. Well, India is pacing after China and I can clearly see their progress to industrialization.

My Travel Document
This time it is totally useless, as well as the $305 we paid for the Advance parole which would have let me enter into the USA if I leave without my Green Card yet. It was just that we don’t have any news about my green card for so many months that applying for travel document I-131 was comforting, knowing we have something to wait upon. But since my green card came, before being given travel document, it is now part of the experience dealing with my papers here as wife of a US Citizen.
Today I got a response from USCIS that they have received my application a month ago and still take them some 60-90 days to process it. I’m just thankful my green card came, mid-October we would have to use it, and for sure travel document would not be up yet, by estimating their time frame, before they can make a decision, it will be too late. 🙂
