It is not easy to medicate large number of patients but we learned to manage our time and energy. For example if we are in a morning shift we will not eat our lunch without giving the 12noon medications. Nursing is a multi task job. You are not only concerning to the patients but also to all medical records, in other words lots of paper works to do and to fill in up. It is true that nurses have more time sitting in the nurses station doing paper works than doing bedside care to the patients and that is the reality.

It has been used that during December lots of solicitations received from the people of our Brgy asking for Christmas presents and the like as my dad is one of the councilor in our place. It is not easy in our part to give them all but my parents tried their very best to have something to give them. I have talked to my mom this afternoon, the chain must be cut because not all the time they have something to give but mom replied to me as long as my dad is in the position they will give as their way of thanksgiving and share the blessings to others.

One of the best thing to do after a stressful weeks of preparation for the wedding is to have the honeymoon and to relax, eat and sleep of the place of choice of the newly wed. Opening of gift is also exciting as the couple  starting to live separately from their parents and have their own things. I remembered before in our wedding the best gift we received was a boat seating foam and a set of sheets, blanket and pillow cases. I just love reminiscing the past. Thank you to all who came and brought their gifts.

They were boyfriend and girlfriend for four years before deciding to settle down. Finally they got married yesterday. It was a very nice and successful wedding. I was teary eyed when the bride spoke her wedding vows, she was crying while saying it from the heart. The groom was crying also after they were pronounced as husband and wife. It is called ‘Tears of Joy’. It’s the union and fulfillment of two hearts that is in love. It’s so nice to find someone who is doing the work of the Lord. Congratulation Cuz Nilyn and Daniel. May your married life be filled with love as the years go by. Keep the fire burning! Welcome to the club. You will discover some truths and fact about each other and that is very exciting.

A killer typhoon ‘Pablo’devastated our province that kills almost 500 people and many are still missing until now. when I’m on my way riding my motorcycle one time I witnessed many people were there at the road side asking for food and anything they could possibly received because they are hungry and dehydrated after losing their homes, farms and animals. What I see in the television is really true in my naked eyes. It’s so hard for us to see them like that that wish I can help more in many ways.

Even I am not working in the hospital anymore still I wear my scrubs for sometimes at home for it gives fresh feeling and very comfy to use because it is made of pure cotton. In the hospital where I was working all nurses are required to wear scrub uniforms instead of the white uniform, it is a hospital policy. They got their nice trendy stylish scrubs from the best store. It looks so great and neat to see nurses in scrubs. I just missed my days in the hospital. I am very positive to find a work in the future. Maybe not this time but for sure in His perfect time and perfect will. Well, I am enjoying what I have now, a very kind and supportive husband and a lovely sweet daughter.
