I was comfortable when I bought my etickets because I had plenty of time, an hour and half to board for the connecting flight to Mumbai. But my first flight bound Singapore yesterday was delayed for an hour so, and that leaves me thread chance if I could make it, so tight squeeze there. So I told the agents on the check-in counter about that, and gladly, they took care of it, anyway, it’s not my fault to have missed the next flight. They placed me in the best seat and treat me like a VIP traveller, haha, I didn’t think it mattered if they let me board last as long as I go out first, but they let me in first. I felt spoiled. Darn, those people are very caring of their costumers! I did not regret Silkair was delayed. They promised that someone’s gonna take care of me in Singapore and if I would miss my flight, oh God please no, they would arrange for hotel for me to stay the night in, as they do with others. For me Singapore Changi is very big airport and if I will just walk and run, still.. Okay so I entrusted it to them. Imagine how worried we were, especially hubby, for me to extend another day? Oh well. Part of a travel experience I would not mind having, anyway, it was secured and safe.

Off to India
So I’m gonna fly today to India to spend the holidays with hubby. I will be there for almost a month, and glad that I will still see my family after that. I still go back to the Philippines after the India trip for final departure to the USA. I am so excited for the trip though. We have been away for more than a month and half now. If I would not have this Indian vacation for a month, I will be away for three months and hubby said he’s not gonna let me leave that long, so long. But be together in few hours. Keep posted for my stay in India. Bon voyage for me.

Itinerary change
My itinerary follows the Davao-Singapore-Mumbai and back route and in my return I have 30 minute allowance to make it on the second leg. Granted the flight will not be delayed from Mumbai on midnight, there is a chance but I would have to run in the big airport in Singapore. But today, four days before my flight I changed that, and glad that the travel agency was cooperating. I may stay for several hours in Singapore, but it gives me plenty of time to make it to the next flight heading home, Davao.
Online on the sky
Who does not want? It has not been allowed by airlines to have electronic products and gadgetry that would interfere with their navigational system, but the main reason was security against terrorists communicating while up high through the world wide web, having Internet access while on the sky. It had been banned since the September attack. But now, if you want free in-air access to Internet, fly with Jetblue heading from San Francisco to New York on JetBlue Airways next week, so you may get a chance to join testing in-flight e-mail and instant-messaging service. But because of bandwidth constraints, general web access and e-mail attachments won’t be permitted. Service will be accessible only to travelers using two BlackBerry models, the 8820 and 8320, and to laptop users with Yahoo e-mail and Yahoo instant messaging. The test will be on Tuesday on Flight 641 from JFK International Airport to San Francisco International. The return flight, Flight 644, leaves San Francisco at 12:25 p.m.
Going back to the Philippines
This time we are purchasing my domestic e-tickets back and forth online from Cebu Pacific. Hubby used to buy it online from them but this time they wont allow visa card transactions from the USA. No other payment options. So hubby tried to call long trans-pacific but he could not reach them. Maybe some temporary problems they’re having; but if the USA is not served, how much more the other countries? We are not yet worried of it this time. We are just glad that I can used the free tickets we have for me that will be one year old this month. No postponement already. But now I’m kind of “can’t believe I’m finally going back”. But I know it’s normal.
