Great family fun time with Disney

When I was a child I didn’t know how to play bingo and other card games or games of chance. No one in our family did. But my classmate in grade school taught us how to play it and about the game rules and mechanics. She was pretty exposed to playing games and she was very good on it, that it was amusing. Those were the good days but since moving away from the place we were not able to play bingo again.

But now I just found out that there is a high-tech twist on an old favorite, the Screenlife’s Disney Bingo in DVD available for purchase at Amazon.com and Drugstore.com! It is kind of magical, very entertaining with the Disney clips and on-screen caller, and perfect toy and game to play with our kids for old times’ memories and for their new ones as we are spending time with them with this DVD game. It is not just a game for fun, but it actually sharpens our kids skills in colors, numbers, attention and wits in an interesting way by using the Disney characters all children (and us adults) love. I would definitely teach my own children like this for them to be alert and sharp and having fun with us. It’s very affordable. In the end, we win, we benefit in the results!

Imagine me without you

Imagine me without you. Imagine ourselves without God. Imagine ourselves without our loved ones. It is so hard to lose someone we love so dearly. I know it does not all end up here, but in the moment of losing we cannot help but stop. I will really miss him so terribly. I tried not to question Him or blame anyone, but surely days will be lonely again. Yeah we have to go on, but I will bring all the memories, for comfort.

Elephant on the road

Namashtè! I just want to share these photos we took a while back. You see this man, he did not look like a beggar to me, but after all, we were strangers to the place. But our tour guide said that he collected money for the elephants, his elephants, or for the sake of the elephants, whatever it was. It was fine, we really were going for an elephant ride just for experience, which in the end, I found it so much fun. That day he had an elephant with him on the road carrying a load on its back. It was just one of those elephants we always see on the roads. What I like about this picture are his clothes and the silverware he’s carrying, and also his bag. Somehow I felt satisfied being able to capture them.

There are a few things I want to have before I go home for a vacation. They are very essential for me. Well the things I want to buy are not ordinary; they are pretty expensive almost on all stores. But I recently looked into one online store, and I discover I could get the best buy from them. Pretty discounted items of the same products. When they have the best buy logo, they really are.

Hurricane journal

peaceful weather Thanks be unto Him who walks upon the wind, who rides above the storm! There were broken limbs and twigs everywhere, but only one tree uprooted around the property. Thank God there were no damages in the buildings. The water supply was cut off, we had no electricity (but I had prepared for it!) so there was no way to know about what had come of the hurricane, the news and progress. But I guessed that time Gustav was gradually fading and further inland. As of about several days ago, as I said we didn’t have access to the news but I just hoped that nothing is coming over here in Louisiana anymore. Because sometimes when nature strikes, once is not enough. And we are all so thankful that hurricane Ike indeed didn’t harm us, though my heart goes to those affected. We just lost power yesterday for two hours because a big tree fell across the road where the power line is, but it was not as bad as Gustav where we had no electricity for four days. As of now, the once category 4 hurricane has become just a tropical depression, and just right since it has been storming around for a week more or less. Well, some through the water, some through the flood, some through the fire, but all through the blood.. some through great sorrow but God gives a song, in the night season and all the day long. And that was what I have been doing when we were in the dark. And He led me.

Weight loss pill

Do you know that the world is getting fat, there are now more overweight than the underweight? It is indeed a serious problem. Everywhere we look around we see products for losing weight, well, to meet the demands of the gaining people. The only way to get rid of the excess bad fat we know is by burning calories through physical activities, exercises, proper diet and coupled with diet pill that is really made to perform its purpose without harming our bodies. Hubby does not want me to get fat and overweight. Well, I see his point and I also want to maintain the weight that is considered healthy anyway, and if any of us will start to bend the scale, we really have to lose excess pounds of fat.
