Happy New Year! We had a very happy one and a New Year’s eve, 2009 watch night celebration held in the church. What made it more fulfilling was the giving we did. The gifts we gave might be just small things but they mean so much to those who received. It was a lesson for me too. I was glad that I was able to share for it was more gratifying seeing them happy and loving what you shared. It was a blessing seeing so many people giving gifts and present to everyone, sharing a part of what blessings they got throughout the whole year. It was one of the most unforgettable church celebration.

It is the new year, and though many don’t bother with New Year’s Resolution, some still strive to make their year productive, making promises to themselves to achieve “extra ordinary” things that can change the world by being perfectionist in themselves first.
The target and single-minded vision of formidable ruler Sheikh Mohamad bin Rashid Al Maktoum for putting Dubai on the global map and making it one of the fastest growing cities in the world. With resources and ambition to achieve it, he did, and so now Dubai emerged as a world business hub, and attracted world-wide attention through innovative real estate projects, manning jobs with its largely foreign workforce.

Time sure flew so fast, it’s now 2008. Happy new year everyone. We are really happy, starting the new year afresh, looking ahead for the future, standing on a higher ground. Good health and blessings for 2008, especially our dear ones!
